<p><strong><em>Zanchin, Enshin </em></strong><strong>e<em> Teichin</em></strong></p>
<p>E como usá-los com eficácia</p>

<p>O <strong><em>Zanchin</em></strong><strong> </strong>é para dispersar o <em>yang</em> (o <em>Jya</em> – factor perverso) à superfície. Usando a parte aberta, deve-se dar pequenas pancadinhas no sentido contra-corrente ao do meridiano, para dispersar o factor patogénico das superfícies da pele em excesso.  Na extremidade oposta também existe um furo. Portanto, quando se bate com a parte mais larga contra a pele o agente perverso entra pelo instrumento e percorre-o saindo com uma qualidade boa.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>O <strong><em>Enshin </em></strong>é usado para tonificação (<em>ho</em>) e  dispersão (<em>sha</em>). É usado para tonificação quando suavemente deslizamo-lo sobre a pele no sentido do meridiano. Quando é usado contra o meridiano é dispersante (técnica <em>sha</em>). A extremidade é completamente redonda sem senhuma parte pontiaguda. O <em>Ki </em>acumula-se facilmente mas não consolida. Quando é oval consolida melhor.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>O <strong><em>Teichin </em></strong>é usado principalmente para tonificar (técnica <em>ho</em>). A sua limitação é que a sua acção fica-se pela superfície da pele. Não se deve usar regularmente o teichin como técnica de punctura. O método é tocar lentamente, vertical em relação à superfície da pele e retirar lentamente depois de tonificar. Para se dispersar, deve-se usar a extremidade afiada e usar a técnica de cortar o meridiano várias vezes. O comprimento do <em>teishin</em> determina o efeito e a força de acção. Quanto mais longo mais profundamente penetra a sua acção. O teishin mais curto é usado para problemas mais superficiais.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Depois do falecimento do nosso professor mais querido e Presidente da Associação, Junko Ida, a Presidente da Associação Europeia, honrou-me com o pedido de que redigisse umas palavras de homenagem à memória de Yanaghishita Sensei, para serem publicadas. O meu texto foi o seguinte:</p>
<p>In 2005, when i started to learn Toyohari every teacher or older student talked about Yanaghishita Sensei as an Unique Master in the technique of controlling the qi and applying it with the Toyohari Meridian Therapy to his patients.</p>
<p>Because i knew that he would not come to Europe, i went to Japan twice. In 2009,<a href="http://toyohaript.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/yanaghishita.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-635" title="Yanaghishita" src="http://toyohaript.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/yanaghishita.jpg?w=550" alt=""   /></a> i was very lucky because  i could receive a demonstration of a technique from him. I was feeling very low energy, a little nausea and constipated. After feeling my pulse and belly he decided to do me the spl3. He put the silver needle next to the point and i felt a warmth in the point that instantly was transmitted to my belly and i could feel immediately my hara. It was like it had a connection and that started to clarify all the area. My intestines started to move! The sensation was amazing.</p>
<p>After that he did the pc6 point and i could feel the mind much clearer and the nausea going away.</p>
<p>Definitely it was an unique sensation and my mind only pointed to the thought “oh. i which so much to be just a little as good as Yanagishitasensei in my future practice. Maybe i won’t, but i’ll try to work for that”.</p>
<p>My respect and admiration are tremendous for Yanaghishitasensei. I feel I have been very lucky to have the opportunity to met him, a truly great master. What i think is that the minimum that we can do is to practice and try to give and develop our best, as a reverence and memory to him and his fantastic work and dedication.</p>

<p>Toshio Yanaghishita Sensei foi presidente da Associação de Acupunctura Japonesa Toyohari durante muitos anos. Faleceu no dia 02 de novembro de 2010. Era um acupunctor e professor muito dedicado. Nasceu em 1932, logo a seguir à invasão do Japão pela Manchúria.</p>
<p>Em 2003 explicou aos alunos, em Amsterdão, que nessa altura, mesmo antes da 2ª Guerra Mundial, os recursos do Japão tinham ficado tão dizimados que havia pessoas a passarem fome.</p>
<p>A fome é uma das principais causas da cegueira. Aos 8 anos devido à falta de vitamina A, foi-lhe prognosticado cegueira. Tendo recebido esta notícia logo decidiu que iria ser acupunctor. Esta era uma profissão tradicionalmente reservada para os cegos.</p>
<p>Embora fosse baixo e tivesse uma estrutura delicada e apresentasse cifose, as suas mãos indicavam que estaria predestinado para ser uma pessoa alta.</p>
<p>Yanaghishta iniciou-se na Associação Toyohari, desde o seu começo, 1959. Fazia parte do movimento da terapia dos meridianos que se estava a dedicar à interpretação dos clássicos chineses.</p>
<p>A Associação Toyohari foi um pilar para ensinar a acupunctura aos Ocidentais, quer na teoria, quer no ensino de técnicas poderosas mas não invasivas. Yanaghishita foi um professor muito inspirador, dando o seu tempo sem pagamento em troca.</p>
<p>Na sua clínica, em Tóquio, via cerca de 100 pacientes por dia. Nas suas aulas enfatizava que tudo o que nós aprendessemos deveria ser para proveito dos pacientes. Embora isto pareça ser um facto óbvio, é bem demonstrativo da sua humildade  e falta de ego. Estava sempre em sintonia com o que o rodeava.</p>
<p>Yanaghishita Sensei era casado e tinha uma filha que o acompanhava nas suas deslocações ao estrangeiro. Foi uma pessoa que conseguiu transformar a sua tragédia pessoal em serviço aos outros. Foi, portanto, um grande acupunctor e professor e um exemplo de como nos podemos transformar em melhores pessoas.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">A capacidade organizativa interna alinha-se e a pessoa sai com a sensação de estar mais restabelecida.</p>

<p>There is an art of listening</p>
<p>&#8220;There is an art of listening. To be able to really listen, one should abandon or put aside all prejudices, pre-formulations and daily activities. When you are in a receptive state of mind, things can easily be understood; <strong>you are listening when your real attention is given to something. </strong></p>
<p>We are screened with prejudices, whether religious or spiritual, psychological <strong></strong>or scientific; or with our daily worries, desires and fear. And with these for a screen we listen. Therefore, we listen really to our own voice, to our own sound, not to what is being said&#8221;</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">No Toyohari, o terapeuta tem mesmo de ouvir. Ouvir é um dos quatro métodos de diagnóstico &#8211; ouvir a voz, ouvir o tipo de discurso da pessoa e saber enquadrá-lo num elemento. Este é o ouvir com o ouvido mas ainda há o ouvir com os dedos. Na palpação do pulso, auscultamos os parâmetros deste pela sensibilidade na ponta dos nossos dedos. Como se fôssemos um cego que vê com o tacto, aqui somos como que um mouco que ouve com os dedos. Tal como com a audição do tom e qualidade da voz e do discurso, também com o pulso só a prática é que permite ir afinando este estar atento e perceber. Ao desenvolver o estar realmente atento a, é que permite potenciar o bom tratamento. E é isto que confere o grau de arte e não o de simples técnica.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Many people, including physicians, have become disillusioned by the prevailing materialistic interpretation of illness and health. The revolution in health care emerging now in the West is based on the insights of ancient traditions, where healing and spiruality were intimately linked. In tradicional approach to medicine the body is more than a mere life-support system: it is seen as a vehicle for realizing perfect health in body, mind and spirit – a bridge to our highest potential.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">At the heart of these medical traditons is the recognition that the physical world, including our bodies, is largely a product of our individual perception, and that it is the mind that directs the body towards sickness or health. Our bodies often express inner, even subcounscious, psychological states. The physician’s role whithin this system is to guide the patient towards greater self-awareness, beyond the self-imposed  limitations that foster disease. Ultimately, true healing begins when we discover within ourselves that place where we are linked with the larger forces of the universe. Although each person may seem separate and independent, all of us are connected to patterns of intelligence that govern the whole cosmos. Our bodies are part f the universal body, our minds an aspect of a universal  mind.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">When harmony prevails between the elements of human physiology and the forces of the macrocosm, nature’s intelligence flows spontaneously through the cells of the body. Whether or not the physician resorts to the use of medications or external therapies, the patient is directed towards health-producing behavour that restores dynamic equilibrium to body and mind, so leading to physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Health then becomes a heightened state of vitality, creativity, peace and joy where we transcend the individual ego.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Awareness, attention and intention should be as much as part of health care as drugs, radiation and surgey because ultimately, one’s state of counsciousness is the most important element in the healing process.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The word “healing” originates from “holy”, which in turns derives from the Word “whole”. When the memory of wholeness is restored, healing takes place whithin our mind and body. The memory of that original wholeness is always present on a celular level, bu is overshadowed by our habitual inattention and our preoccupation with trivial and mundane affairs.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Segundo “The Tibetan Art of Healing”, o médico-terapeuta deve estar em alerta como um <span style="color:#993300;">falcão </span>para poder distinguir as variadas desordens/doenças. Deve ser paciente como uma <span style="color:#993300;">ovelha</span> na observação da flutuação dos sintomas e cauteloso como uma <span style="color:#993300;">raposa</span> na prescrição da medicação quando a doença já se encontra instalada. No tratamento de recidivas e agravamentos deve ser rápido como um <span style="color:#993300;">tigre</span>.</p>

<p>Saotome Sensei, in Aikido living by design</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Philosophers, in both East and West, have written about how to live well. There is (they often tell us) an art of living.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Saotome Sensei fears that we are losing that art.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“The easy life-style of postwar human existence has gone too far”, he says. “Our bodies are so pampered that they have almost lost their original functions. Our heads talk with one another through computers, as we sit in isolation stroking keyboards. We are our heads. Our maladies display this reality: lower back pain, headaches, heart disease, obesity, obsession and neurosis. We drive to the health club so that we can run on a machine. We live imprisoned in our homes by locks on the doors and bars on the windows. We have lost our skill of critical thought and are robbed by greedy professionals.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">According to Saotome Sensei, one of the causes of this condition is that we have separated ourselves from the wisdom of the past. “We haven’t incorporated the past into our present way of being.” He claims. “Instead, we have turned our backs on past ways of doing things to create somehing entirily diferent. Different it was supposed to be better, but it has now become absurd.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Our ancestors worked a great deal with their hands. They farmed, sewed, cooked, and built things with raw materials. It was a different world were a human lived among nature, where life was faced with many dangers and risks.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The solution does not lie, of course, in turning back the clock. But, according to Saotome Sensei, it does involve our relearning of our senses, thereby reconnecting the world around us. In part, we do relearning by working with our hands – sewing or growing our own food. But, to do this, don’t we need to stop thinking of ourselves as warriors? No, says Saotome Sensei. In his opinion, the path he has presented is the Way of warrior:</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“The warrior does not hone his skill by deadning himself to the world”, he explains. “On the contrary, a warrior’s art is based on heightened awareness of all sensations. Warriors are tough because warrior training teaches them to face this world directly and by themselves. Through their olfactory, visual, auditory and tactile senses, they gather information about their immediate surroundings. With clear heads, they can process this information quickly. And a calm readiness increases their ability to respond appropriately. These are the warrior’s skills.”.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“The warrior spirit is the struggle for life – spiritual as well as physical”, he continues. “The warrior will not accept a spiritually dead existence. And what preserves life is the natural world around us.”</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Quem não conhece e ouve falar no Toyohari como sendo uma técnica suave e não invasiva, pode erradamente pensar &#8220;então o efeito de cura é muito reduzido&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">A frase mestra deste sistema é &#8220;little is more&#8221;, querendo dizer que se faz pouco mas muito eficientemente. Desta forma:</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- o paciente não perde energia;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- a terapeuta trabalha para vir a ser um grandioso acupunctor e mestre na sua arte;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- a terapêutica é, neste caso, muito holística (o que os orientais chamam de junta o Céu e a Terra).<br />
Neste conto temos, ainda, palavras chave para a filosofia oriental:</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- o rio &#8211; representa, algo que flui incessantemente &#8211; que pode ser o conhecimento, a técnica tradicional, a filosofia, por exemplo.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- Zen &#8211; filosofia do oriente</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- três &#8211; é o número que integra o Homem entre o Céu e a Terra e que, por isso, indica o holismo, o global que leva a uma aspiração espiritual.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">- Montanha &#8211; local preferido para a meditação, por estar mais perto do Céu.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Portanto, tudo converge para que seja um veículo para a espiritualidade.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Na minha opinião, também o Toyohari pode ser &#8220;sentido&#8221; assim.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">- Este sabor provém de uma interdependência entre o melão e a minha língua, porque a minha língua sozinha, sem o melão, não pode&#8230;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Porquê haver justificações mentais para o que é simples?</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">É simples e funciona. Isso basta.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Para a  acupunctura japonesa Toyohari o lema é: Funciona? Se sim, usa-se. Depois explica-se.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Numa tentativa de simplificar procedimentos e aprofundar a eficácia da actuação da acupunctura, os sistemas japoneses distanciaram-se dos chineses. A teoria da Medicina Tradicional Chinesa (MTC) assenta sobretudo na medicina herbal. A teoria dos zangfu, que é o pilar da MTC, não faz sentido na acupunctura japonesa.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">O objectivo da acupunctura japonesa é identificar os padrões a serem corrigidos, usando os clássicos chineses como apoio e adaptando o conhecimento à regulação do qi. Segundo os praticantes japoneses, se identificarmos os padrões de vazio, excesso e estagnação dos meridianos e os regularmos, todo o sistema se auto-corrige. Assim, todas as capacidades do organismo de se auto-regular e curar são postas em acção. Isto é que é o cerne de todos os modelos tradicionais de acupunctura.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">É uma abordagem bastante minimalista em que o que se pretende é &#8220;less is more&#8221;, ou seja, fazer pouco e ter muito efeito. As explicações e teorias surgem basicamente da observação sistematizada dos resultados da prática, ao longo dos milhares de anos que tem a acupunctura.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">E o mais novo, pelo contrario, era tolo e tinha apenas um olho.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Uma noite, um monge errante foi pedir alojamento.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">O irmão mais velho estava muito cansado,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">tinha estudado muito.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Assim, pediu ao mais novo que fosse fazer o debate;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Solicite que o dialogo seja em silêncio”, disse.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">
<p style="text-align:justify;">Pouco depois, o viajante voltou e disse ao irmão mais velho:</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Que homem maravilhoso é o seu irmão,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Venceu brilhantemente o debate.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Assim, devo ir-me embora. Boa noite.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Antes de partir”, disse o ancião</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“por favor conte-me como foi o final do diálogo.”</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">“Bom”, disse o viajante,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“primeiramente, ergui um dedo simbolizando  Buda.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">O seu irmão levantou dois dedos,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Simbolizando Buda e os seus ensinamentos.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Então ergui três dedos,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Para representar Buda, os seus ensinamentos e os seus discípulos.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Aí o seu inteligente irmão sacudiu o punho cerrado à minha frente,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Indicando que todos os três vêm de uma única realização.”</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Com isso o viajante foi-se.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Pouco depois, veio o  irmão mais novo</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Parecendo muito aborrecido.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Já soube que você venceu o debate”, disse o mais velho.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Que nada!”, disse o mais novo,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“este viajante é um homem muito rude”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“É?”, disse o mais velho,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Conte-me qual foi o tema do debate.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Ora!”, exclamou o mais novo,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">“no momento em que me viu, levantou um dedo insultando-me,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">indicando que tenho apenas um olho.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Mas por ser um estranho achei que deveria ser educado.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Ergui dois dedos congratulando-o por ter dois olhos.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Em toda a tradição espiritual os números têm grande significado. O <em>número</em> permite que toda a informação seja sistematizada e, simultaneamente, conecta-nos a uma linguagem supra-consciente, a linguagem do universo. Ou seja, pelo seu simbolismo conseguimos ter acesso a determinada informação.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Assim, no taoísmo, p. ex, temos:</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">
<p style="text-align:justify;">“Do vazio vem o Um,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Do Um vem o Dois,</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Do Dois vem o Três</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">E assim surgem as dez mil coisas.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Lao Tze, Tao Te King</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">
<p style="text-align:justify;">Tal como na teoria do Big Bang, em que o universo surge do nada, neste excerto do Lao Tze do nada, do vazio, surge uma vontade, um caminho. Essa vontade (Um) materializa-se por um movimento, por uma polaridade que cria esse movimento. Tudo nasce a partir de dois complementares – quando dizemos que há luz é porque também há escuridão, quando dizemos que há Céu é porque há Terra, etc. Do “casamento” desses complementares é que surge um terceiro elemento e esse é a expressão de toda a reprodução na Terra e “dos dez mil seres”.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">
<p style="text-align:justify;">Traduzindo para o Budismo, temos uma hierarquia: Buda é o Ser Maior, o Um, que irá “acordar” tudo. Deste, surge a sua reprodução – os seus ensinamentos. Que se destinam a alguém – os seus discípulos (o Três).</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Mas o caminho do Budismo é inverter esta ordem – chegando aos discípulos, pelos ensinamentos, pretende-se acordar cada um de nós, tornando-nos um Buda e mergulhando-nos de novo na origem de todas as coisas – numa única realização.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">
<p style="text-align:justify;">Originalmente, a cura ou as artes curativas, tinham uma ligação às divindades, no sentido de que se entendia que a doença era devido a um bloqueio na circulação da energia. Tudo é composto de energia e se a puséssemos a circular da maneira correcta não haveria dor nem sofrimento.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Actualmente, as artes curativas que seguem uma via natural, procuram compreender qual o “desalinhamento” que se deu na pessoa e que a desviou da sua maneira “natural” de estar no universo e tentam recapturar isso.</p>
